We're excited to share two new additions to the Ashippun Historical Society!

Our entrance now proudly features a new "Ashippun Historical Society" sign, replacing the original "Ashippun History Committee" sign that welcomed visitors for many years.

We also replaced our old "History Exhibit" sign with a new one "Ashippun Historical Society Exhibit" sign.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support the Ashippun Historical Society. We couldn't do projects like this without your encouragement and support.

Lastly, join us on Sunday, September 6, from 1:00–4:00 PM for our next Open House and our Bake Goods Sale. Stop by to see the new signs, tour the museum, and pick up some delicious homemade baked goods while you're here!

Looking for something to do this Sunday August 2nd?

Stop by the Ashippun Historical Society for our Open House & Rummage Sale this Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Take a tour of our museum, explore Ashippun's rich history, browse historic photographs and artifacts, and see what we've been working on. Then shop our rummage sale and see if you can find a few great bargains or unique treasures to take home.

We'd love to see both familiar faces and first-time visitors!

Join us on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Ashippun Town Hall for an inspiring afternoon with author George Henry Roemer as he shares the story behind his book, Out From Rubicon: A Grandfather’s Notes on His Life.

George's remarkable journey has taken him across 39 countries on four continents, serving overseas, working in agriculture and education, and experiencing firsthand the challenges and opportunities of life around the world. Through his book, he reflects on the lessons, values, and experiences that shaped his life and the legacy he hopes to pass on to future generations.

Whether you're interested in history, travel, international service, family stories, or personal memoirs, this presentation promises to be both engaging and thought-provoking.

Join us for the Ashippun Historical Society’s first Open House of the season on Sunday, May 3rd from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM at the Ashippun Town Hall Museum!

This is a rare opportunity to step inside and see the many artifacts, exhibits, and pieces of local history that help tell the story of Ashippun and the surrounding area. Our museum is not normally open for public viewing, so we invite the community to come take a look!

Interested in local history? We are always looking for new members who want to help preserve our community’s past for future generations.

Come hang out with us at the Ashippun Historical Society Open House! We’re open the first Sunday of every month (May–October) from 1–4 PM.

Stop in, check out some local history, share a few stories, and see what we’ve been working on. Whether you’re a longtime resident or just curious about Ashippun, we’d love to have you!
