Partners: UIR - NCUSAR - GSU - MUN Morocco Since its founding in March 1945, seven months before the United Nations, the
League has grown to incorporate nearly every nation that counts Arabic as one of its
official
languages. The Model Arab League simulates the councils and the Member States that exists
within the League of Arab States. Each country delegation assigns one or two delegates to each
Council. Each Council is responsible for discussing all of the topics assigned to it in the
Provisional Agenda. Delegates address the Agenda topics by writing, debating and passing draft
resolutions which are agreeable to as many of the member states as possible, with a goal of
achieving the majority. Université Internationale de Rabat will
host the 2015 International Model Arab League. UIR Senior Staff will work in tandem with an
experienced team from Georgia State University in organizing this event, along with the
involvement of student volunteers, professors and the administration. Agenda :
