What an incredible afternoon on the Main Oval! 🏫✨ Our Beta Iota Chapter had a phenomenal time connecting with hundreds of student leaders at today's Autumn Student Involvement Fair.

Our Chapter President, Barbara Steward-Goins, held down the booth today to welcome prospective members and share how our three core pillars—Scholarship, Leadership, and Philanthropic Fellowship—can help enhance your collegiate experience here at The Ohio State University.

This summer, members of our executive board traveled to Lancaster, Pennsylvania to attend the Phi Sigma Pi National Convention and celebrate a major milestone in our fraternity's history: the Grand Opening of our new National Headquarters! 🏢✨
Attending convention gave our team the incredible opportunity to connect with chapters from across the country, share operational strategies, and align our upcoming semester plans with our national pillars of Leadership, Scholarship, and Philanthropy. Returning home from this trip, we are more energized than ever to launch our autumn recruitment pipeline and continue making a powerful impact both on campus at Ohio State and in our local Columbus community.
Thank you to everyone who made this trip possible, and a huge thank you to our National Council for hosting such an impactful week. The future of the Beta Iota Chapter is brighter than ever!

I am so proud and honored to share that my Student Spotlight is officially live on The Ohio State University College of Social Work website! ⭕️🎓✨

As a non-traditional BSSW student, it means the world to share my journey. I am incredibly grateful for the support of my Phi Sigma Pi family, who consistently inspire me to live out our core values of Leadership, Scholarship, and Fellowship every single day. 💛💜

When I first started my journey at Ohio State University about a year ago, I wrote about what it felt like to step into this new chapter. Now, looking back on my transition, I realize how important it is to share the reality of what it means to be a non-traditional student on campus today.

Photos from National Convention 2026 Recap! 💜💛

Our Beta Iota Chapter delegation had an absolutely incredible time out in Lancaster, Pennsylvania this past weekend for the Phi Sigma Pi National Convention! From high-impact leadership workshops and national legislative sessions to connecting with fellow brothers from across the country, it was a weekend packed with inspiration and growth. 🎓✨

A massive thank you to our amazing alumni support crew, Summer and Les—and their dog, Talisman, who is also an official inducted member of our organization! 🐾 Honor, leadership, and fellowship definitely extend to our favorite four-legged brother! 🚗💨

We also had the absolute pleasure of meeting our new Region 3 Chapter Consultant, Elijah Zagorski, in person! It was great connecting with him during the convention, and we look forward to working closely with him this academic year to strengthen our chapter operations. 🤝✨

We are returning to Columbus fully equipped, motivated, and ready to kick off an amazing fall semester. Big things are ahead for Beta Iota—including moving into our brand-new executive office space upstairs in the Ohio Union! 🌰🏛️

Had the absolute best time this past weekend out in Lancaster, Pennsylvania for the Phi Sigma Pi National Convention! 💜💛 It was so much fun meeting brothers from all over the country, learning new leadership strategies, and getting hyped for the upcoming school year.

I am incredibly excited to officially step into the role of Chapter President for the Beta Iota Chapter at Ohio State this fall! 🌰 We have a lot of big things planned, including maximizing our brand-new chapter office upstairs in the Ohio Union!

I’m so grateful to have such an amazing team by my side to make this semester a success. Huge shoutout to William Chen, who is holding down the fort as our Vice President and Treasurer, and a massive congratulations to Kristina Balevska for stepping up as our brand-new Chapter Secretary! 📝✨ We also have the best support system with Summer Shigley continuing to guide us as our Alumni Advisor Chair.

Between our new leadership team, our awesome alumni network, and 4 new recruitment prospects already on file, we are completely ready to crush Fall recruitment starting at the Student Involvement Fair on August 23rd! 🚀
