Up to date information on monthly lectures given by Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine Doctors and Crit
We are a group of volunteer students and professionals interested in pre-hospital care who have come together to provide a regionally-delivered, internationally-streamed academic teaching programme with the aim of increasing interest in pre-hospital emergency medicine. We are closely linked with the East of England Major Trauma Centre at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, the East of England Ambulance Servic
e, East Anglian Air Ambulance, Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, and Magpas Air Ambulance. Our goal is to create a multi-professional learning and networking environment that will introduce the core principles at the heart of pre-hospital emergency medicine and inspire the doctors and paramedics of today and of the future. By regularly allowing students and professionals of many healthcare backgrounds to come together, we want to embed shared, multidisciplinary working across the emergency services and receiving hospitals. Whether you work with a Voluntary Aid Society, are a member of a Community First Responder Scheme, are a student, or are a qualified and experienced doctor or paramedic, we know that there will be something for you at our forums. Our curriculum mapping not only ensures that our programme is expansive and relevant but also provides an appraisal tool for current PHEM trainees.
