University College Cork delighted to host the launch of the National Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) Festival, a pioneering event that brings together , the public, professionals and to celebrate the crucial role of public involvement in shaping health in Ireland.

Funded by the Health Research Board, the Irish Research Council and seven Higher Education Institutions in Ireland the tagline for the 2024 Festival is: Connect, Collaborate, Celebrate.

This inaugural conference hosted by the Department of General Practice UCC in partnership with the Cork postgraduate GP Training Scheme and Health Service Executive Primary Care Cork/Kerry South South West Hospital Group focused on 'Leadership and Capacity-building in General Practice'.
