💚💛 The P.I.A.S.A. Team Needs You 💛💚

The P.I.A.S.A. Team plays an important role in supporting Southwestern students, staff, and families—but this work cannot be sustained by only a few people.

Every event, fundraiser, student activity, staff-appreciation effort, and school-support project requires volunteers, fresh ideas, and people willing to help make decisions. When more parents and guardians participate, the work is shared, more voices are represented, and we can accomplish much more for our students.

Attending a P.I.A.S.A. Team meeting is one of the easiest and most valuable ways to get involved. At our meetings, you can:

📣 Hear the latest information about what is happening in our schools directly from the principals
🗓️ Learn about upcoming events, programs, fundraisers, and volunteer opportunities
💬 Ask questions, share ideas, and offer feedback
🤝 Connect with school leaders, staff, and other Southwestern families
✅ Help make decisions about how P.I.A.S.A. resources are used to support students and schools
💡 Better understand what our schools need and how families can help

You do not have to hold a position, lead a committee, or attend every meeting to participate. Simply showing up, listening, sharing your perspective, or volunteering when your schedule allows can make a real difference.

Strong schools are built through strong partnerships between families, educators, and the community. We sincerely need more parents and guardians at the table so the P.I.A.S.A. Team can continue serving all Southwestern students effectively.

💚💛 There’s a place for everyone on the P.I.A.S.A. Team! 💛💚

The P.I.A.S.A. Team is looking for parents, guardians, staff, and community members who would like to help support Southwestern students during the 2026–2027 school year.

Whether you’re interested in fundraising, family events, yearbook, communications, Care Closets, Fun Day, or helping occasionally as needed, we would love to have you join us!

You do not have to attend every meeting or volunteer at every event. Even helping once or twice a year can make a meaningful difference for our students and schools.

We know how hard it can be to keep track of everything happening throughout the school year, so we’ve created one calendar that families can subscribe to right from their phone. 📱

The calendar will include:

This month, the Piasa Team had so much fun hosting a door to door “game show” teacher appreciation event where teachers got to spin the wheel for a variety of prizes! A huge thank you to our sponsor, Ben Myette with Country Financial, for helping make this event possible!

We have truly loved celebrating our teachers each month this school year, and we hope every event helped remind them just how appreciated they are! 💚💛

Wishing all teachers and school staff a wonderful, relaxing summer break! ☀️ We can’t wait to see everyone again in the fall for more fun! 🤗

The Piasa Team had so much fun at Kindergarten Kickoff tonight! We loved meeting so many amazing families and are excited to have a fabulous summer and then welcome our new kindergarten parents at our first meeting in September as we begin the 2026–2027 school year together! 🍎📚✨
