Our Story...
The CTIA formed as an Association in 2008, after the founder Molly Hanson-Steel soon found that there was a lack of regulation in the industry and that what regulation there was, it seemed to be manipulated for the benefit of profit over safety.
Having trained to offer injectables treatments in 2007, her practice became so popular that she ended opening 3 clinics within 2 years, offering beauty , injectables and aesthetics.
The CTIA have campaigned for years for compliance and so that highly skilled and educated practitioners are accepted within the aesthetic injectables sector. Having meetings at government level and with regular editorials being published the CTIA has since become the forefront of the injectables sector with non medics being the focus.
The CTIA now have a network of over 600 members and students and have been fundamental in the discussions regarding the new standards at meetings at the CPSA and HABIA and is part of the Aesthetic Working Group.
