Mestre Val Boa Morte founded Capoeira Filhos da Bahia in Salvador, Bahia BRAZIL in 1983. 10 years later, Mestre Val (Edval Santos) moved to Australia as the Head of the Capoeira Filhos da Bahia - International Group. Mestre Val has more than 46 years of training & dedication to Capoeira. For 38 years, he has travelled to over 57 Countries around the World to perform & teach Capoeira. Capoeira Filh

This International Family network is a strong foundation for CFdB, supporting the life of CFdB from it's past roots to it's future growth. Mestre Val is the Founder & Head of Capoeira Filhos da Bahia. CFdB began in partnership with his Master: Mestre Alfredo &
his Brothers: Contra-Mestres Nei & Dinho. Today, CFdB enjoys partnerships with brother schools ALL AROUND THE WORLD, as Capoeira continues to evolve & spread throughout the Globe.
