Happy Monday!!! This Thursday is International Day of People With Disabilities! The theme this year is "Not All Disabilities Are Visible"
There's no better way to celebrate than to make your pledge to spread inclusion and end the use of the R-word. We would love it if people showed their support by sharing their pledges both on here and for everyone to see! Let's spread the word to end the word!
Here's an example of a pledge:
I pledge to spread inclusion by creating a welcoming environment for everyone by celebrating the differences I have with others. I pledge to examine my own personal biases in an attempt to minimize judgement. I will be an advocate those with disabilities by promoting inclusion, continuing to educate on etiquette, and vocalizing my pledge to stop the use of the R-word.
