𝐌𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐈𝐒𝐀 𝐀𝐓 𝐌𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐀𝐇𝐎𝐊 𝐒𝐀 𝐎𝐍𝐄-𝐋𝐆𝐁𝐓𝐐𝐈𝐀+ 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐆 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐄 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 🏳️‍🌈🌈

Ang Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Pasig ay buong pusong nakikiisa at sumusuporta sa One LGBTQIA+ Pasig sa pagsasagawa ng 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐄 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡: “𝐔𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐬 𝐔𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐄 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐧, 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐍𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐧.”

Inaanyayahan ang lahat na makiisa sa darating na Hunyo 27, 2026 (Sabado), mula alas-10:00 ng umaga sa Ayala Malls Feliz, Barangay Dela Paz, Pasig City, para sa isang makabuluhan at makulay na pagdiriwang ng PRIDE. Tampok sa programa ang iba't ibang serbisyo at aktibidad na naglalayong itaguyod ang kalusugan, kabuhayan, at kapakanan ng komunidad, kabilang ang Free Medical Mission at iba’t ibang health services, Job Fair at Employment Assistance, at marami pang iba.

Ito ay isang pagkakataon hindi lamang upang magdiwang, kundi upang higit pang palakasin ang kamalayan, pagkakaisa, at pagsusulong ng pagkakapantay-pantay tungo sa isang lipunang ligtas, malaya sa anumang uri ng diskriminasyon, at nagbibigay ng pantay na oportunidad para sa lahat. Sama-sama tayong kumilos at tumindig, patuloy nating pagtibayin ang ating paninindigan para sa paggalang sa karapatang pantao, pagkilala sa pagkakaiba-iba, at pagbuo ng mga espasyong inklusibo at ligtas para sa bawat mamamayan.

Makiisa, makibahagi, at makipagdiwang habang patuloy nating isinusulong ang isang lipunang nagbibigay ng pantay na pagkakataon, ligtas na espasyo, at paggalang para sa lahat, ano man ang kasarian.

“Say that you 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐌𝐄. Say 𝑰'𝑴 𝑨𝑳𝑳 𝒀𝑶𝑼 𝑵𝑬𝑬𝑫.”

For far too long, the community has lived behind the shadow of 𝖚𝖓𝖈𝖊𝖗𝖙𝖆𝖎𝖓𝖙𝖞, 𝖍𝖆𝖙𝖗𝖊𝖉, 𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝖘𝖙𝖊𝖗𝖊𝖔𝖙𝖞𝖕𝖊𝖘 casted by the majority. It has been forced to seek acceptance in a world often denied their existence. Too often, love and respect felt like things that had to be earned, requested, or fought for.

“In the back of my mind, I know 𝙄'𝙈 𝙏𝙀𝙈𝙋𝙊𝙍𝘼𝙍𝙔.”

There was a time when respect felt conditional, and 𝒅𝒊𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒆𝒙𝒄𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏. Survival meant enduring a constant tug-of-war between authenticity and the fear of being severed from the very communities one longed to belong to.

But Pride is a testament to something greater: 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙙 for, and 𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙙𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙣 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣.

People in the community have proved and are still constantly establishing that 𝒅𝒊𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒍𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒂𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔. This month, we honor every person who committed to step outside of the box and paved their own way for freedom and equality. This milestone is not only an achievement to the community, but tangible evidence that the world can live in peace and harmony.

We strive not only for the voices of the suppressed, but also to every single person that has every right to live the way they want with pride, dignity, respect, and appreciation. And in the end, the answer was never to become less of who they are, but for the world to 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘧 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯.
