Calling all engineering technology students at NAIT! 👋

Want to learn more about the International Society of Automation (ISA) and how the ISA NAIT student section can help you with your education in the field of automation?

Come to the International Society of Automation (ISA) NAIT Student Section's Annual General Meeting this coming Wednesday, September 27, from 4:00-5:00 PM at the Spartan Centre, Room Y220. (If you cannot join in person, you can participate in Google Meet.)



There are a lot of great opportunities ISA offers for its student members such as:

-Scholarship opportunities
-Social networking events with industry professionals
-Skills Alberta Competition training
-Mentorship programs
-Social events with students
..and many more!

We will offer FREE ISA memberships (worth 15 USD) to the first 50 people who sign up. We will also be hosting our elections during this event, so we will get to meet for the first time the new set of ISA NAIT officers for this school year.

International Society of Automation Student Section- "Study Buddies" is back and this time we are just a click away on MS-Teams. Every Tuesday, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm (follow the link below)

Come join fellow students to discuss courses and projects, ask questions and help prepare for upcoming exams! The group will meet every Tuesday on Microsoft Teams until the end of the semester. The meeting runs from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and you are free to pop in whenever you can. There will also be a forum to discuss questions at any time throughout the week.

This group is currently set up for Instrumentation Engineering Technology Students, but we are hoping to include other programs. If you or someone you know is interested, please contact us at [email protected].

Shreya is a recent graduate from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology’s Bachelor of Technology in Technology Management. Additionally, she holds an Instrumentation Engineering Technology diploma and
is a young professional in the industrial space within her field of study. Shreya is an engaging, involved, and driven leader who always strives for professional development and growth through her active involvement in various organizations where she brings in the zeal of new ideas, value, and inspiration to many seeking to indulge in careers within their respective industries.

As a former member of the IET club at NAIT during her studies, Shreya foresees immense value in educating and informing current students within automation, instrumentation, and any technology space about the value and feathers that ISA will add to their caps!
