Happy 1st day of Spring! We love the warmer weather at KANSEL.
The first day of spring is marked by the spring equinox, the day when day and night are the same lengths all over the world. The word equinox literally meaning equal nightβin Latin.
The spring equinox marks the change of the seasons and as the northern hemisphere begins to tilt towards the sun, our days start to get longer and our nights shorter. In the northern hemisphere, we enjoy the arrival of spring and the promise of warmer days. To the southern hemisphere, however, this marks the changing of their seasons to autumn.

Happy St. Patricks Day!
πSt. Patrickβs Day was originally a religious holiday that was celebrated in Ireland as a day of feast and remembrance for St. Patrick. It was first made an official public holiday in Ireland in 1903, and the day was marked by religious services and family gatherings.π
Over time, St. Patrickβs Day became a more secular holiday, and it spread beyond Ireland to become a global celebration of Irish culture and heritage. In the United States, the first St. Patrickβs Day parade was held in New York City in 1762, and today, the holiday is celebrated with parades, green-themed events, and festivities in cities around the world.
In Ireland, St. Patrickβs Day is still celebrated as a public holiday, with parades and other events taking place in cities and towns across the country. The holiday has also become a major tourist attraction, with visitors flocking to Ireland to experience the celebrations and learn about Irish culture and history. ππ
