The Assumption University Dance Team is a nationally ranked, group of highly motivated and dedicated students that offers varying levels of commitment: Club, Game, and Competition team. The game and competition teams support their student body by performing at varsity football and basketball games as well as other campus events, including Bleed Blue and Relay for Life. In 2018, they were named the Division II Pom national champions at the DTU College Classic in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2019, the team also placed 3rd in Division II Pom at the NDA Collegiate National Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida. The competition team has also been nationally recognized for their innovative choreography. Join us in cheering on Assumption University Football this AFTERNOON at Brian Kelly ‘83 Stadium as they take on Pace for their second home game of the season!

We will be starting off with AU Fight Song at 11:10am. Kick off is at 12:00pm, with another AUDT performance at Halftime! See you there Hounds! 🐾💙

Wrapping up our series is first year member, Devyn! Here’s what she has to say:

Hi, I’m Devyn and I’m an incoming freshman! I’m so excited for these next 4 years with with this incredible team!! 💙

I graduated from Marlborough High School and recently had my final year at my studio! One of my biggest accomplishments would be making my own graduation dress! My proudest dance moment would be getting 1st runner up at the battle in nationals 2025 with my teams open/jazz small group or getting 2nd and 3rd with my lyrical and jazz solos at Starbound for my senior year!

Outside the studio, I love going on walks, going to the gym, and going to the beach! I love learning, and even picked up sewing my own clothes recently! I had a great year, which included lots of lasts and many firsts! Over the summer I unfortunately have been injured and haven’t done as much as I would have hoped, but I have still been staying as active as possible! I’m so excited to start this next chapter and can’t wait for the next 4 with such amazing girls!
