We just finished an amazing 3-day National Dance Alliance camp at Bryant University! Huge shoutout to the best buddy, Waverly Watson for all of your encouragement and support!

Hi! I’m Jordyn, an incoming sophomore and a proud Hound and AUDT member. I love keeping busy by reading, baking, line dancing, and all around just trying new things.

This past semester, I had the opportunity to travel to Daytona with my favorite team and become double finalists, which is something I will be forever proud of us for! I was also able to begin exploring more of my interests in my major through all the amazing courses the university has to offer. 

Now I am a current Orientation Leader, which has allowed me to meet so many amazing people and welcome our incoming freshman (including our amazing rookies) onto our beautiful campus! I also spent my summer cruising around the Eastern Caribbean, getting to see all new places and I even got to swim with sea turtles and stingrays! And I of course ended up at my favorite place, Disney World. I had the best time! For the rest of the summer, I’m looking forward to relaxing after a pretty busy couple of months and getting into the new season with this team and family. Go Hounds!

We had the BEST time at our annual Rookie Intensive this past weekend! We are so proud of the team’s growth in such a short amount of time and can’t wait to kick off the rest of our season at National Dance Alliance camp in just a few days! 🤩

Up next in our series is first year member, Lucy! Read what she has to say below:

Hi!! I’m Lucy, an incoming freshman to AUDT! I love spending time with my friends, going to the beach, and staying active outside of dance.

This past year has been so busy! It was filled with exciting moments and accomplishments both in and outside of dance. I started out my year by switching dance studios l, which has brought me the most amazing friends and teachers and helped me grow immensely as a dancer! We recently competed as a team at nationals in Providence. It was such an amazing end to an amazing season!

I also recently graduated high school and celebrated at my grad party. So far, my summer has been packed, and I am balancing soaking up moments with friends while training for AUDT!

The rest of the summer I am looking forward to tanning by my pool, beach trips, dancing at both my home studio and Assumption, and of course spending time with friends and family. I can’t wait to see what this next year holds for me at Assumption!

Hi! I’m Emma, a rising sophomore. I’m so excited to be entering my second season with AUDT! Outside of dance, I love staying active by going to the gym, going on walks, and I love tanning outside.

I had the most exciting and unforgettable year, from moving over a thousands miles away from home, making the most amazing friends, attending my first NDA nationals with the team, and moving to Florida recently with my family, all while continuing to focus and grow in dance!

One of my top highlights was making pom finals - it was the most rewarding feeling ever and there is nothing more special than doing it with the girls you love most!

This has made me extremely excited for what’s in store for this upcoming season and Nationals 2027! This summer, I recently took a day trip to Nantucket with my friend Bella, which was so fun! I am looking forward to hanging out with my family, tanning in the FL sun, going to the gym, taking some summer classes for school, and seeing my beautiful teammates!

Hi Friends! I’m Emerson, a rising  sophomore and a proud member of AUDT. I love staying productive outside of the dance room, but also valuing taking a break, letting my body rest, and spending time with friends. This past year, I had the honor of attending my very first NDA Nationals in Daytona where I got to share some of my most favorite memories with my favorite team!

One of my biggest accomplishments was making finals with BOTH dances and representing AUDT in the NDA All-American Opening Number, where I got to dance alongside some of the best dancers in the country!

This summer, I worked as an Assumption OL and absolutely loved helping the incoming Class of 2030 become comfortable with their home for the next 4 years! I am so excited to get back with the new team and create new memories!
