Few years ago, Nigeria decided that the "Woman Wrapper" in A*o Rock be replaced by "A Man with Iron Hand"... One who will give that magical touch that will vanish all the irregularities in the Country.

I want to remind us that it's eight (8) years already since we decided... Eight good years of drama; eight hopeless years for the common Nigerian man. We all screamed "WE WANT CHANGE"... A change that was never envisioned; a change without structure... A change that was only a cover for the actualisation of the wishes of the power intoxicated leaders of the olden days Nigeria.

Well... All thanks to God that there's a season for everything that be on earth.

It's that time of the year again when we collectively decide. We have been beaten enough to have learnt some lessons already; and in case we're too obsessed with the love for our different political parties that we can't think straight again, let me hit it deep into our minds again that whatever decision we make today will live to stare us in the face for the next four (+four) years.

Please let's get it right this time...

CHANGE begins with a sound mind and a strong will to actualise a vision that will have a lasting benefit on the common Nigerian man. Don't Vote Wisely this time. Vote a LEADER that is sound (physically and mentally). Vote for LIBERATION from the shackles of olden days Nigeria.

Dear people of Rivers state, let's not doubt the existence of this deadly virus... Let's not forget we only live once.

Let's help fight this disease the best way we can...

Remember the following tips at all times.
Now that the virus has been said to have gotten to Rivers State,

1. Get you and your loved ones nose masks
2. Observe regular hand washing with soap and clean water or use hand sanitiser where water and soap isn't available for use.
3. Avoid crowded places as we don't know how many people the index case might have gotten in contact with.
4. Boost your immune system.
5. Observe social distance... Keep at least 1.5meters distance from anyone that's sneezing or coughing.
6. If you're having any symptoms of flu, observe self isolation while observing the situation. If condition gets worse, call your doctor.
7. Don't touch your face (mouth, nose, eyes) with your hands
8. Stay at home and be safe.

Please this disease can be contained if we follow proper preventive measures... Visit the WHO website to get daily updates on new findings and helpful tips regarding the covid-19 epidemic.

Tips from WHO on how to keep safe in this period... Remember not to spread panic.

*What can I do to protect myself and prevent the spread of disease?*

*Protection measures for everyone*

ℹ️ Stay aware of the latest information on the COVID-19 outbreak, available on the WHO website and through your national and local public health authority. Many countries around the world have seen cases of COVID-19 and several have seen outbreaks. Authorities in China and some other countries have succeeded in slowing or stopping their outbreaks. However, the situation is unpredictable so check regularly for the latest news.

You can reduce your chances of being infected or spreading COVID-19 by taking some simple precautions:

🧼 *Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water.*

_Why?_ Washing your hands with soap and water or using alcohol-based hand rub kills viruses that may be on your hands.

↔️ *Maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.*

_Why?_ When someone coughs or sneezes they spray small liquid droplets from their nose or mouth which may contain virus. If you are too close, you can breathe in the droplets, including the COVID-19 virus if the person coughing has the disease.

🚫 *Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth*

_Why?_ Hands touch many surfaces and can pick up viruses. Once contaminated, hands can transfer the virus to your eyes, nose or mouth. From there, the virus can enter your body and can make you sick.

🤧 *Make sure you, and the people around you, follow good respiratory hygiene. This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately.*

_Why?_ Droplets spread virus. By following good respiratory hygiene you protect the people around you from viruses such as cold, flu and COVID-19.

🏠 *Stay home if you feel unwell. If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention and call in advance. Follow the directions of your local health authority.*

_Why?_ National and local authorities will have the most up to date information on the situation in your area. Calling in advance will allow your health care provider to quickly direct you to the right health facility. This will also protect you and help prevent spread of viruses and other infections.

🧳 *Keep up to date on the latest COVID-19 hotspots (cities or local areas where COVID-19 is spreading widely). If possible, avoid traveling to places – especially if you are an older person or have diabetes, heart or lung disease.*

_Why?_ You have a higher chance of catching COVID-19 in one of these areas.

It's no longer rumour that the deadly corona virus is now in our Country Nigeria... We owe ourselves the favour of staying safe.

Ensure regular hand washing with soap and water or use an alcohol based hand sanitiser, stay hydrated at all times, take vitamin C to strengthen your immune system, avoid crowded places, and most importantly, know that it's not just all about you... Ensure family and friends do the same; this way all of us can be safe.

October 1, 1960... The Day Nigeria got freedom from her colonial masters. At 59, all we have to celebrate is the free life from God as all our leaders at all levels have repeatedly failed us.

They brainwashed us and turned our basic needs to campaign promises. They've made the local man on the street to believe that hardship is the normal way to life while other countries thrive.

As we mark this day, let's take out time to say a prayer for our beloved homeland... God bless us all... God bless Nigeria.
