Thank you to everyone who helped make our 2026 Up & Coming Scholars Program Orientation a success!

We are grateful to the Library staff, IT Computer Lab staff, Ben Kelly CHP staff, OneCard Office staff, Museum staff, The CAF staff, Special Events team, ASU Group members, ASU Freshman College, and all volunteers who welcomed and supported nearly 300 students throughout the day.

Your time, flexibility, and dedication helped create a memorable experience for our scholars. Thank you for investing in the success of our students and helping make this event possible! 💙🐏

📸 Program Orientation Recap

What an amazing day! 🎉 We were excited to welcome nearly 300 Up & Coming Scholars students to Angelo State University for our 2026 Program Orientation.

Students had the opportunity to explore campus, learn about the many resources and opportunities available through the program, receive their official program ID photos, and connect with fellow scholars and ASU student leaders.

A special thank you to our parents and guardians for your continued support and for trusting us to be a part of your students’ educational journey. Your encouragement helps make opportunities like this possible.

Thank you to our Up & Coming Scholars students for your enthusiasm and participation—we hope you had a great time and left feeling excited for the year ahead! 💙💙

We are also incredibly grateful to our ASU Group members, ASU departments and staff, Special Events team, ASU Freshman College, and all volunteers who helped make this event a success. Your support, communication, and dedication helped create a smooth and memorable experience for everyone involved.

📢 Reminder: Up & Coming Scholars Program Orientation is Tomorrow!

We are excited to welcome our incoming Up & Coming Scholars to Angelo State University for Program Orientation.

Please remember to bring:
• Comfortable walking shoes
• A water bottle

🍽️ Lunch will be provided.

Please note that **RSVP registration was required to attend this event. Registration has now closed, and we are unable to accept additional participants at this time.**

💫 Hey Up & Coming Scholars!

If you have already signed up for the ASU Up & Coming Scholars Program Orientation, thank you! We are excited to welcome you to campus. 🙌

• For new students in grades 7–11 who have not registered yet, we still have a few spots available. Please note that Orientation is mainly intended for students who are new to the program.

❗️Reminder: All students must complete the UCSP application each year to keep their CID active and continue receiving program benefits, including events, campus resources, and scholarship opportunities. Returning students should remember to reapply for the 2026–2027 year.

• Orientation is not mandatory; however, students are expected to participate in events and activities throughout the academic year.

⭐️ Applications and Orientation registration close on May 25, 2026 at 5:00 PM. ⭐️
