Big news for the future of student well-beingđź’™

Move This World is joining Riverside Insights, bringing together two organizations deeply committed to helping students thrive.

By connecting the DESSA®’s trusted, strengths-based insights with Move This World’s daily, engaging experiences, we’re making it easier for educators to turn data into meaningful, consistent support for every student. From Tier 1 through Tier 3, this integration strengthens a cohesive MTSS approach, so students get what they need, when they need it. “Together, these approaches help schools identify challenges earlier, strengthen the skills students need to succeed, and create learning environments where every student can thrive,” said Sara Potler LaHayne, Founder and CEO of Move This World.

What this means for school communities:
• Turning insight into action: Educators can seamlessly move from assessment to everyday practices that build essential life skills
• Creating consistency: Screening, instruction, and progress monitoring aligned in one place
• Saving time: Ready-to-use multimedia experiences that fit into real classroom moments, no extra prep required

As student needs continue to grow and change, our focus remains the same: empowering school communities with tools that foster connection, resilience, and emotional well-being every day.

We’re excited for what’s ahead alongside Riverside Insights and grateful to continue this work together.

This Black History Month, we honor Mary McLeod Bethune — a leader who knew education is more than instruction. It is care. 💛

At a time when opportunity was denied to so many, she founded a school for Black girls that grew into Bethune-Cookman University, creating spaces rooted in safety, dignity, and belief. As an advisor to U.S. Presidents, she also helped expand access to education nationwide.

Her legacy reminds us: mental wellbeing is foundational to learning. When students feel seen, valued, and supported, they thrive.

At Move This World, we’re committed to building learning environments where care comes first — because belonging changes everything.

School counselors are at the heart of supporting student well-being—and this week, we’re celebrating them.

During National School Counseling Week, we’re highlighting how counselors partner with Move This World to help students build emotional awareness, practice self-regulation, and strengthen connections across their school communities. When counselors are equipped with consistent, student-centered tools, they create environments where students feel seen, supported, and ready to learn.

We’re grateful for the counselors who make this work possible every day. ❤️

At Move This World, we help students build the emotional skills to set meaningful goals and recognize their progress — not just at the end of the year, but as they step into what’s next. When goal-setting is rooted in self-awareness and community, growth becomes something students can truly own.

🤝 Student engagement doesn’t start with a new program — it starts with teacher buy-in. We talk a lot about what schools should implement to support students, but real impact comes from how educators experience those tools.

Hear from Kristen Crowe, Chief Community Officer at Scholarship Prep Public Schools, as she shares her experience boosting student engagement by ensuring educators understand the purpose and feel supported in implementation of mental and behavioral health programs.
