For everyone interested in a coexistence with horses, where you can grow in a shared culture, where horse and human involved can have an informed exchange, not to adapt that horse to living with human in a predefined image, but redefining a society where inclusion is understood for all animals, where everyone can be or become themselves, and no one is born as an instrument.

Tales from the Sparta Reserve:
After ten years, this autumn we are all back between the olive trees, starting to collect the olives 🫒 again for our bio-olive-oil filled with daily life adventures 😁
Indeed, the harvest is an adventure in itself, mixed and shared with the horses.
Sparta, the youngest (although already twelve) was very little, when the last olive- experience happened. His father, mother, aunts and uncles joined before, but for him, our attention, the movements and dedication underneath the trees was a new sight to take in.
So we dedicated the morning of the first day to blend in again, all together, part of a whole, enjoying each other's attention.

"Today for horses the first experience of exploring the wildest part of Sparta, which made mr want to share something about animal movement, which has its own characteristics, rules and needs.
Movement and movement choices can change not only from horse to horse, this is obvious, but also from context to context, from paradigm to paradigm, I would say. In fact, an equestrian trot is very different from the trot of a horse which is the owner of an emancipated, proper, spontaneous movement. Although the movement seems the same, muscles, joints and even thoughts move differently and so in the first case you will have a rigid, mechanical, military, closed movement, with premature ageing of body and mind, while in the second case the movement will be more open, more dialogic with the context, richer in the possibility of action and thought, ultimately more rejuvenating.
So to say that an animal has to move to stay healthy means next to nothing. Which movement? In what experience? In what adventure? With what emancipation? With what animal logic?
In the videos the cognitive horses of Sparta offer their point of view, movement and logic."
