The Full Circle Project is a comprehensive approach by California State University, Sacramento (Sacramento State), the Department of Ethnic Studies and the Asian American Studies program to implement a strategically focused, campus-wide effort to improve retention and graduation rates of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) students. ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT✨✨ Emeline is from cohort 3. She is the Administrative Support Coordinator (ASC) for the Department of Ethnic Studies at Sac State. She handles clerical and administrative support to the Department Chair, ASC II, and faculty. Emeline also holds responsibility for administrative support for GE Area F courses. She liaises with campus programs that most frequently partner and coordinate with Ethnic Studies, i.e., EOP, CAMP, and McNair Scholars Program—additionally, liaising with programs within the Department.

ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT✨✨
Jenisha is from cohort 6. She is currently working with FCP as an Administrative Support Coordinator (ASC) and pursuing her master’s degree in forensic science at UC Davis. As an ASC, Jenisha manages most of FCP’s budget that goes into making FCP events happen. As a forensic grad student, she is currently working on her thesis regarding DNA Transfer at crime scenes with Dr. Hall, Director of the Forensic Grad Program at UC Davis.
