Telah berlangsungnya Bengkel Pemurnian Modul Kursus PREHOSPITAL LIFE SUPPORT ENHANCED (PLSE) yang menghimpunkan pakar-pakar Perubatan Kecemasan, Pegawai Perubatan serta Penolong Pegawai Perubatan dari seluruh negara dalam usaha memperkukuhkan pembangunan modul latihan prahospital di Malaysia.

Bengkel ini merupakan satu inisiatif penting oleh kump**an pakar Area of Interest (AOI) in Prehospital Care & Disaster Medicine Malaysia dengan kerjasama College of Emergency Physician, Academy of Medicine Malaysia dalam memastikan modul latihan yang dibangunkan sentiasa relevan, evidence-based serta selari dengan perkembangan semasa bidang perubatan kecemasan dan trauma.

Sepanjang bengkel ini berlangsung, pelbagai sesi pemurnian kandungan modul, penambahbaikan simulasi klinikal, validasi penilaian kompetensi, pembangunan senario latihan serta perbincangan berkaitan evidence-based update telah dijalankan secara aktif dan komprehensif.

Tahniah dan setinggi-tinggi penghargaan diucapkan yang terlibat secara langsung mahupun tidak langsung dalam menjayakan bengkel ini.

Semoga modul ini menjadi satu platform latihan yang mampu meningkatkan ilmu, keyakinan, kompetensi dan kesiapsiagaan para responder pra hospital dalam memberikan rawatan kecemasan yang lebih efektif, selamat dan berkualiti kepada masyarakat.

The Final Module Refinement Workshop for the PREHOSPITAL LIFE SUPPORT ENHANCED (PLSE) Course was successfully conducted from 12 – 14 May 2026, bringing together Emergency Physicians, Medical Officers, and Assistant Medical Officers from across Malaysia in a collective effort to strengthen the development of prehospital care training in the country.

This workshop represents an important initiative by the Area of Interest (AOI) in Prehospital Care & Disaster Medicine Malaysia in collaboration with the College of Emergency Physicians, Academy of Medicine Malaysia to ensure that the training module remains relevant, evidence-based, and aligned with current advancements in emergency and trauma medicine.

Throughout the workshop, various sessions involving module refinement, clinical simulation enhancement, competency assessment validation, scenario development, and evidence-based updates were actively and comprehensively discussed.

Congratulations and heartfelt appreciation to all Emergency Physicians, Medical Officers, Assistant Medical Officers, facilitators, and everyone involved directly or indirectly in making this workshop a success.

May this module serve as a valuable training platform in enhancing the knowledge, confidence, competency, and preparedness of prehospital responders in delivering more effective, safe, and high-quality emergency care to the community.
