新潟市内の耕作されなくなった土地に2014年に植え育つ無農薬ラベンダーを数千本会場に持ち込み、摘みたての花穂でラベンダーバンドルズを編んだり、自家蒸留のラベンダー精油を使い、アロマジェルや石けん、ローションを作り香りを楽しむ初夏のイベントです。アロマテラピー講座やラベンダーリース作りもあります。ラベンダーの「癒力」を「新潟の魅力」の一つとして定着させる願いを込めて夏至の日に一番近い満月の日を≪新潟ラベンダーの日≫としています。入場無料。
