After a practice with Sensei Shadi, ten members took their belt test, ending another successful semester for the club. Thanks to everyone who showed up!

This past Saturday, Peter Zhokhov and Kwabena Boadu competed at the XIII Shobukan Cup. Peter placed 1st in kumite and 3rd in kata in the novice division while Kwabena placed 2nd in both kata and kumite.

Chuck Norris. Bruce Lee. These are household names for a sport born on an island half a world away. Luckily for students of Texas A&M, they only need to travel halfway across campus to experience TAMU Shotokan, a sport that many refer to as “karate.”
