Share & Care Foundation Since our founding in 1982, the Share & Care Foundation has raised $80 million across 800 programs

Since our founding in 1982, the Share & Care Foundation has raised $71 million to bring education, gender equality, healthcare, and sanitation & hygiene to deserving women and children of rural India. We run almost entirely on volunteer efforts, which has made it possible to put 92 cents of each dollar raised directly to work for our beneficiaries. Our grassroots approach involves working with hig

hly vetted on-the-ground NGOs who know and are intimately familiar with the people and villages they serve. While we have been involved in more than 800 programs over the years, our Signature Programs — those that have proven to be sustainable and repeatable — include:

COLLEGE EDUCATION
We award loan-scholarships for talented students to complete college degrees in STEM fields. SECONDARY EDUCATION
We provide middle school dropouts with the support to re-enroll and complete their education. GENDER EQUALITY
We empower women with education, self-defense skills, and financial independence. HEALTHCARE
We improve access to quality healthcare, and provide preventative health education. Find out more about the Share & Care Foundation:

A center. A craft. A second chance.
Juguntara's path back to stability didn't stop at a paycheck — it opened doors she thought had closed for good.
👉 She trained others just a few years after she herself was trained
👉 She went back to school and earned a computer diploma
👉 Now she is a respected leader in her village
This is what a Share & Care donation funds: not just one woman's income, but the infrastructure that lets a single center change an entire village.
Fund the next center. Link in bio to donate.

On National Non-profit Day, we’re honoring the power of partnership. For over 20 years, Share and Care has been fueling a movement to empower rural India by championing the local heroes who know their communities best. Our unique approach doesn’t just fund programs—we provide the critical resources and mentorship that allow grassroots non-profits to scale, grow, and create lasting, sustainable change from the ground up.

Cervical cancer is one of the most treatable cancers in the world — if it's caught early. Nita's diagnosis could easily have gone undetected for years. Instead, one community program changed her timeline entirely.
Her story isn't the exception we're aiming for. It's the standard we're building toward, one screening camp at a time.

We’re hitting pause on our "Bounce Out the Stigma" basketball camp. While we are so excited to bring this program to life, we’ve decided to hold off for now.
Thank you to everyone who shared, supported, and cheered us on! Stay tuned for updates. 🏀

Some of the strongest support systems aren’t built by family. 🤝
This International Day of Friendship, we’re celebrating the mentors, neighbors, and friends who show up — the ones who tutor a struggling student, walk a mother to her first health checkup, or simply remind someone they’re not alone.
Across the communities we work in, friendship looks like showing up, again and again.
Who’s a friend who’s shown up for you? Tag them below. 👇

This past week, intricate embroidery from a small village in Uttar Pradesh reached the runways of Paris thanks to donors just like you!
Designer Manish Malhotra showcased Chikankari embroidery hand-stitched by the women of Mijwan Welfare Society (MWS) — a Share & Care Foundation partner — in his debut collection at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.
Mijwan Welfare Society has partnered with Share & Care for more than three decades to build vocational training and livelihood independence for rural women in India.
Every stitch on that runway traces back to a donor who believed rural women's skills deserved a global stage. That’s you.

The need is vast — but so is what’s possible. 💙
Share & Care and MECT have set an ambitious goal: double our student headcount at the Gujarat residential schools over the next two years.
👉 More classrooms.
👉 More access to healthcare.
👉 More futures rewritten.
Your gift — big or small — helps make that happen.

“I want to become a doctor, like Dr. Piyush.” 📚
Rhea’s story is one of quiet determination — and what’s possible when a child is given the right support.
That support comes from a partnership between Share & Care and Malvi Educational and Charitable Trust (MECT), whose zero-fee campuses provide vulnerable children with smart classrooms, STEM labs, healthcare, and full residential housing — through our Educate 2 Success program.
Over the past four years, 70 tribal students from Rhea's campus alone have gone on to medical school. She’s next in line.

Every child deserves a champion. 🌟
This July marks National Make a Difference for Children Month — and at Share & Care, we believe education is the ultimate equalizer.
Over the past four years, 70 tribal students from Gujarat MECT campuses have gone on to medical school. This upcoming academic year, we’re setting an even bigger goal: doubling the number of students.
👉 That means twice as many kids with access to classrooms, healthcare, and a real shot at their future.

Be someone's champion this July. https://buff.ly/Rlm6R4K
