Kajo-Keji Christian College held its End of Semester Holy Prayer Service, giving thanks to God for a successful academic semester and praying for the Theology students who are set to begin their examinations on Monday, 25th May 2026.
In todayโs sermon, ๐๐๐ฏ. ๐๐๐ง๐จ๐ง ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐ญ๐ก๐๐ง ๐๐จ๐ซ๐จ reminded us that there comes a time when we must step away from theories, academics, and the busyness of life to simply listen to God.
The message was drawn from ๐๐จ๐ก๐ง ๐๐, the powerful prayer Jesus made before His crucifixion. Even in the face of betrayal, suffering, and death, Jesusโ heart was focused not only on Himself and His disciples, but also on all future believers โ including us today.

Jesus already had us in mind before the cross.
We are not an afterthought in Godโs plan. Jesus prayed for both present believers and those who would come to believe in Him through the preaching of the Gospel.
๐น Evangelism matters.
People come to faith when the Word of God is shared faithfully. As Christians, we are called to share and explain Godโs Word so that others may believe.
๐น Unity is the heart of Christ.
Jesus prayed that believers may be ONE โ not through uniformity, but through love and spiritual harmony. We are called to demonstrate love that brings both Christians and non-Christians together.
๐น Our lives preach louder than our words.
The world may never read theology books, but they read the lives of Christians every day. We are therefore called to live exemplary lives, treating others with love and living in unity so that non-believers may experience the transforming power of Christ through us.
๐น Tribalism and division weaken the witness of the Church.
As believers, our identity in Christ must be greater than tribe, ethnicity, or background.
The sermon challenged us deeply as Christians and as a nation to reject hatred, division, and conflict, and instead become instruments of love, peace, and reconciliation.

May the Church rise in unity, love one another genuinely, and become a living testimony of Christ to the world.
