Authentic Assessment is an approach to evaluating students through real-world, meaningful tasks that demonstrate the practical application of knowledge and skills, rather than relying solely on traditional exams. It emphasizes assessing students through activities such as projects, presentations, case studies, portfolios, and problem-solving tasks that reflect actual professional or life situations. The goal is to encourage deeper learning, critical thinking, creativity, and the ability to transfer knowledge to real contexts, while providing a more comprehensive measure of student achievement and learning outcomes.
