Damodar: When Lord Sri Krishna is bound by the ropes of love of Goddess Radha.

One time in 1999, after living two years with my divine master in Vrindavan, I had to return to Costa Rica as my father died. My Gurudeva came two months later to Costa Rica. Someone had asked me to marry him so I asked my divine master about this. A day after, Srila Gurudeva was speaking Harikatha and I was translating. In the middle of his speech he said "would you marry if you want to serve Srimati Radhika?" So I translated. Then he repeated "if you want to truly be Radhika's palya dasi, a manjari, would you marry?" I again translated. Then with a loud voice and pointing 👉🏻 at me he said "NO! I am asking you! Would you marry if you want to serve Srimati Radhika?!" I started to cry.... Then he said "NEVER!! You should only want to serve Radhika and become Her near and dear maidservant! You should desire nothing else!" Then he told me in his room "you should quickly go back to Vraj. You have become somehow weak here." And I did return, and lived 15 years in India with my divine master.

Today is the appearance of our most worshipful Goddess, Srimati Radhika. She is our most sacred treasure. We keep Her very hidden and covered in our hearts. May She bestow Her merciful service to this very fallen and unworthy soul as myself. May She always protect me and accept me as Her maidservant. Jay jay Sri Radhe!!!!!!!!!!
