“You’ll never do a whole lot unless you’re brave enough to try.”- Dolly

What an icon and Inspiration. She worked hard at her craft , gave generously, loved fiercely, thought of how she could provide jobs for others , and she was unapologetically herself .

This picture is from an event where we were all speakers at Dollywood and because of Covid they needed to move us to a bigger room where we could spread out. They needed to move us to ….“ Dolly’s stage” ..usually reserved for Dolly , but for a small moment we got to take Dolly’s stage and do our thing . I don’t think Dolly would have minded one bit. She was a champion for women chasing their dreams !

She had an impact on so many of us. She will be missed but her legacy lives on.

These were so easy and fun to make !

1. Get gallery wrap canvases . We got these from our local Michaels Stores

2. Grabbed some DecoArt Acrylic Paint paint colors we liked and then blended with a brush and palette knife.

3. Sketched out their monogram . You can totally use a projector for this part if it intimidates you !

4. Multiple layers of white on the monogram

5. Used our favorite 24k gold paint from DecoArt Acrylic Paint for the drop shadow !

The girls loved it and it looks great in their room at Auburn University !

Lots and lots of emotions !
Sad stuff , happy stuff , end of chapters ,
Beginning of chapters …all the things somehow managed to land within a 3hr time frame today !

Through all the hugs and tears and laughs ..one emotion runs through them all . Gratitude. I’m truly So so thankful .

We have such a good God who has answered so many prayers !!
