Philipp is a research associate at the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation, where he manages the Bauhaus Lab programme in Global Modernism Studies and co-leads “Schools of Departure,” an online atlas mapping the globally entangled histories of design and art education beyond the Bauhaus.
‌
With a background in art history, medieval and modern history, and museum studies, Philipp has worked as an art educator for renowned institutions such as ZKM | Centre for Art and Media Karlsruhe, Tate Liverpool, and Goethe Institut Novosibirsk. His work focuses on the intersection of cultural and educational institutions and the history of visual cultures.

As a Critical Friend, Philipp will guide you by fostering critical conversations and offering valuable insights to rethink design education.

Tabitha is a Berlin-based multidisciplinary designer, creative technologist, and founder of SEEK/FIND. She has worked with Vogue Germany, Nike, Highsnobiety, and more, creating cutting-edge work in creative tech and design.

Her artistic practice explores themes like spirituality, hauntology, and recursion, posing questions rather than answers. Her work has been showcased at Miami Art Basel, Fotografiska, Transmediale, and the Venice Film Festival.

As a Critical Friend, Tabitha will challenge and guide your ideas through thoughtful questioning and sharing her expertise as a guide throughout the Lab.
