Hi TVEC families! 👋

I'm Brandy Schell, and I'm excited (and honestly a little surprised at myself 😅) to introduce myself as your new Treasurer for TVEC PIE!

A little about me—I'm a proud boy mom to Kellan, who's heading into 6th grade, and Alex, who's starting 3rd grade. If you know us, chances are you've seen us at a lacrosse field somewhere. Between practices, games, tournaments, and trying to remember who needs to be where, life is a little chaotic—but I wouldn't have it any other way!

By day, I work for Johnson & Johnson on the Dermatology team, and by night I've fully embraced my introvert era. You'll usually find me curled up with a good book, cheering on Penn State (We Are!), squeezing in a fitness class, or trying to find a new restaurant in the area that will deliver!

Joining PIE is a huge step outside my comfort zone. As one of the "newbies" on the board this year, I'm excited to learn, help, and try to remember how to use excel again 🙃 While I may be new to PIE, I'm passionate about supporting our school, our teachers, and most importantly, our kids.

One thing I've already learned is that PIE only works because of amazing families who are willing to jump in and help. So this is my official plea: be patient with us "newbs," volunteer when you can, share your ideas, and don't be afraid to lend a hand. We promise to bring the enthusiasm! 💚🤍

I'm looking forward to meeting more of you and working together to make this a fun and memorable school year for our TVEC kids. Here's to a great year! 📚🍎

Hi TVEC Family,

My name is Kate Bauman and I will be your TVEC PIE Secretary for the upcoming school year! This is my 3rd year with PIE, starting in 2024 mostly just attending meetings. Last year I assisted with Holiday Shop and Scholarship Committee. As we prepare for 2026-2027, I look forward to being even more involved.

I work as a Renal Dietitian for DaVita taking care of dialysis patients. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, traveling, cross-stitching, watching college sports and attending group exercise classes at the Y.

As for my kids, Maddie is my social butterfly who loves cheerleading and gymnastics. This year she will be in 2nd grade. Then there is my incoming Kindergartener, Kenzie. She is my shy dancer who loves horses. This summer she started riding lessons at Stoned Goat and I fear there is no going back.

With all that being said, I can't believe we are quickly approaching August and the new school year. Julie, Michele, Brandy and I are working behind the scenes and can't wait to welcome everyone back. Let us know how we can best assist you in getting involved and giving back to the school that we love. The first step is just coming to the meetings, in person or virtual. See you soon!

To the wonderful TVEC families,
I’m Michele Comstock, and I’m eager with a few butterflies🦋🦋 to start the new school year as the TVEC PIE Vice President!📝
For those who don’t know me, I work from home for United Healthcare and my hobbies include reading and photography📸. Many of your kiddos will know me as the one always around with the camera! I have two wonderfully crazy kiddos. Rennie will be starting Middle School in the fall and Rosalyn is entering 1st grade here at TVEC. Rennie is involved in TV Baseball⚾️ and TV Basketball🏀. Rosalyn is involved in dance🩰 at Next Step and TV Cheer📣. You will find me encouraging and celebrating them both in and out of school.
I started at TVEC PIE when my son entered Kindergarten the Fall of 2021. I got involved from the get go with Raider💚Reach and classroom parent that first year and since then became heavily involved in several committees including serving as co-chair for Raider💚Reach and Holiday🎁Shop. I have met so many wonderful families and got to know several kiddos and teachers by getting involved in this wonderful group.
As Julie said, PIE is more than planning events🗓️. It’s what helps make TVEC an incredible 💖 place for these students and teachers to grow. I’m excited😁 to get started with Julie, Kate and Brandy as part of this board as well as getting to know each of you and working with you all to make this the best 📓 school year yet.
Whether you’ve helped year after year or are wondering where to begin, we welcome 🤗 everyone to join us! Wish you all the very best last month of summer 🌞 and cannot wait to see returners and meet newcomers when the school year starts!! 💚🤍
