It is with sadness The Newmarket Toastmasters share the passing of fellow Toastmaster and friend, Kevin Mills. TNT welcomed Kevin and his wife, Heather, as members last September. During his Ice Breaker speech last fall, Kevin shared why he had joined Toastmasters. Kevin spoke about how, in 2023, while he hand-cycled across Canada in support of spinal injury recovery, the moments spent speaking at schools and supporters along the way had sparked his desire to become a public speaker so that he could continue sharing his lived experience with spinal cord injury, and advocating for enhanced recovery. TNT extends our deepest sympathies to Heather, their son Evan, and their family and friends. ❤️

It is will sadness that we have to announce that long time member Cindy Wackett had passed away this past weekend, her enthusiasm and smile and seeing good in others will be sadly missed by many.

This coming Thursday we will be holding a Tribute meeting in Cindys honor called its not goodbye its see you later please feel free to join us in support for one another.
