The USC Thornton School of Music Vocal Arts Department and Opera Program is one of America’s premier training grounds for singing-actors, opera coaches and collaborative keyboard artists - a program where youth and experience meet in a vibrant urban setting to create provocative productions of classic and modern masterpieces.

We are excited to announce the appointment of Dr. Bille Bruley as Assistant Professor of Vocal Arts at the USC Thornton School of Music beginning this fall semester! Bille brings much enthusiasm for teaching as well as a wealth of performing experience to our faculty and students. Upcoming performance highlights include appearances with the Opera Theater of St Louis and Houston Grand Opera. Recent engagements include those at The Metropolitan Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, San Francisco Opera, Los Angeles Philharmonic and Santa’s Fe Opera, among others. Please join us in welcoming Bille to USC this fall!!
