Pahara and Teach For America (TFA) alumni are part of a powerful network of leaders committed to strengthening public education and expanding opportunity for students. Through initiatives like the Pahara Institute at Lone Rock and the Pahara Fellowship, TFA alumni continue to grow the leadership and talent needed to address long‑standing challenges in our education system.

We’re especially proud to celebrate TFA Jacksonville’s former and current leaders, Crystal Rountree and Rachel Fortune, whose leadership journeys exemplify what’s possible when purpose-driven educators remain engaged beyond the classroom. Their impact reflects the important role alumni leaders play in shaping strong schools, communities, and futures for students.

Together, Pahara and TFA demonstrate that collective leadership matters and that lasting change in education is built through sustained commitment and shared vision.

It was great to see so many of our KIPP Jacksonville team members at the Teach For America Jacksonville One Day Breakfast.

We’re grateful for our longstanding partnership with Teach For America and the impact it continues to have in our schools. This year alone, 16 TFA corps members are teaching in KIPP Jacksonville classrooms, supporting our students each day.

Many Teach For America alumni are also now leaders within KIPP Jacksonville, continuing their commitment to educational opportunity long after their corps experience.

A big congratulations to Dr. LaKeisha Wells-Palmer and the entire Teach For America Jacksonville team for the incredible work you’re doing across our city.
We’re proud to partner together in service of Jacksonville students.
