With a gracious grant awarded from Kamehameha Schools Kaiāulu : Traditional Ecological Knowledge Programs - Aloha ʻĀina Kalaepōhaku will bring together kaiāulu to mālama from mauka to makai! ⛰️🌊

With a focus on Aloha ʻĀina as the vehicle to educate on sustainability, our event will involve hands-on service and experiential learning by helping at the campus māla, reviving of historical space with native Hawaiian plants, and invasive limu removal at Ka’alawai beach.

Aloha ʻĀina Kalaepōhaku will also feature prominent figures and organizations as speakers and workshop/breakout session leaders after morning service activities are complete.

CIFAL Honolulu, hosted by Chaminade University of Honolulu, HI, is proud to present its new course: “SDG Analytics in R.”

This course is designed to equip students, professionals, and enthusiasts with the necessary skills and perspectives to analyze data related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) using the R programming language.

💻By participating, you will be offered a personalized introduction to R, RStudio, and GitHub tools through the lens of the SDGs. All your code, including coursework and your final project, will be recorded on your personal GitHub account, providing great visibility for your newly acquired skills.
