A photo from my Soviet Union National Team days.
Behind this picture were thousands of rounds in the gym, early morning runs, victories, defeats, and lessons that shaped me for life.
The Soviet boxing school taught discipline, resilience, respect, and the confidence to face any challenge. Those lessons have stayed with me long after my competitive career ended.
Today, I do my best to pass those same values on to the next generation of athletes.
The years go by, but the memories, friendships, and spirit of those days remain forever.
Once a boxer, always a boxer.

🥊 The Roll: One of Boxing’s Most Underrated Skills
Don’t underestimate the roll.
A good roll isn’t just a defensive move—it’s your ticket into the pocket, where real boxing happens. When used correctly, it allows you to slip under punches, close the distance safely, and put yourself in position to attack while your opponent is still recovering.
The best fighters don’t just avoid punches—they use defense to create offense.
Learn to roll. Learn to stay relaxed under pressure. Learn to move through danger instead of away from it.
That’s how you take control in close range.
🥊 Boxing is not about throwing punches. It’s about creating opportunities to land them.
