Waverly Piranhas Swim Club

Last night, the Piranhas were back in the pool! We would like to congratulate Cailyn on an outstanding performance. She swam a 54.10 in the 100 Freestyle and a 25.09 in the 50 Freestyle, with both swims breaking the pool records. The previous 50 Freestyle record was her own, while the 100 Freestyle record was held by Gwen Eisenbeis.

In addition, Cailyn's 54.10 in the 100 Freestyle makes her the new club record holder in the event, surpassing the previous record set by Rita Eljbeily. Congratulations, Cailyn, on these incredible accomplishments! Keep up the great work! 🏊‍♀️🏅👏

Last night, the Piranhas were back in the pool! We would like to congratulate Robin on competing in her first swim meet. She raced in the 25 Freestyle and 25 Backstroke and did a fantastic job. Congratulations, Robin—keep up the great work! 🏊‍♀️👏

The Piranhas took over the pool last weekend at the JAWS First Chance Meet with some strong swims, great finishes, and plenty of fast racing! 🏊‍♂️🔥

Leading the way was Greg Flermoen with 1st place finishes in the:

🥇100 Butterfly
🥇50 Butterfly
🥇50 Backstroke

Cailyn Reedy also had an outstanding meet, finishing:

🥇 1st in the 100 Butterfly
🥈 2nd in the 50 Freestyle
🥈 2nd in the 100 Freestyle
🥈 2nd in the 200 Freestyle

Great swims were also turned in by Kade, Marshall, Karim, Grant, Mari, and Waylon as the team continued to build momentum heading into the rest of the season.

The Waverly Piranha board has been very busy. One the club will now have more than one practice facility. two more than one USA registered coach. please see pictures and sign up today. parent meetings are listed in the pictures.

The club will also be changing the name to Capital Area Piranhas.
