Congratulations to all the amazingly KIND Ravens who were recognized in an all-school assembly! ✨ We’re so proud of these kids.
Roosevelt Elementary School recently introduced a new and meaningful addition to its monthly assemblies — the Kindness Award!
This month, students were recognized for showing outstanding kindness and compassion in ways that truly make a difference in the school community. From sharing toys and inviting others to play at recess, to offering encouragement, helping before being asked and making classmates feel welcome and included, these students are leading with heart.
It’s these everyday moments of care and connection that help make Roosevelt such a special place to learn and grow. 🌟💛 Roosevelt Elementary School - Olympia, WA Roosevelt Elementary PTA ESD 113 Association of Washington School Principals (AWSP) Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI)

As we inch closer to the end of October, this seems like a great time to remind our community that two Olympia School Board positions are on the ballot this year. ✏️🔎 The School Board represents our community in setting district goals, adopting the budget, hiring staff like the Superintendent, and providing facilities for the education of our district’s youth. Don’t forget to cast your ballot by Nov. 4!

Let’s get spooky (and heartfelt) together this coming Friday, October 24! 🎃🎅🖤 We’ll be watching Nightmare Before Christmas in the school cafeteria. Bring your pillows and blankets. Show starts at 6:45 p.m.
Don’t forget ⬇️
🎥 This is a FREE family event, hosted by the PTA. We’ll have popcorn!
🎥 All children must be accompanied by an adult for the full movie.
🎥 Rated PG. Run time: 1 hr. 16 min.
🎥 Please review the movie ahead of time to see if it’s appropriate for your child. A good resource is commonsensemedia.org.
🎥 Last but not least, please clean up after yourself after the movie.
