Ending Engineering week with an out of this world talk!!
The ASME Student Section at BAU and the Astronomy Club at BAU teamed up for an unforgettable event: Exploring Mars Rovers.
The talk started out by a wonderful speech given by the Chairperson of the Mechanical Engineering Department Prof. Ali Hammoud in which he shedded the light on the amazing work done by ASME student section of BAU and the importance of this collaboration.
Our expert speakers, Dr. Alaa Abdallah, Dr. May Itani, and Inventor Mohammad Ali Dandashli, took us on a journey through the history, technology, and modeling of Mars Rovers. It was a talk filled with fascinating insights and inspiring ideas. Thank you to everyone who joined us on Tuesday 28 February 2023, and let's keep exploring the wonders of the universe!

"Exploring the world of mechanical engineering beyond the classroom! 🔧 Our visit to the Sibline Cement Factory was an unforgettable experience. From an informative session about the factory's operations, safety regulations, the process of lab testing in addition to applying our vibration course learnings in real-life scenarios. It was a great learning opportunity. We even got to tour the factory by bus and got an explanation on each station. In addition to leaving a memory of our visit through planting a tree, which was offered to us by the factory as a token of gratitude for the environment🌳. A huge thank you to the .lb Cement Factory for hosting us and making this visit possible! 🙏 "
