The International Student society stands in solidarity with our Asian students, peers, alumni, family, and staff. We are here for those affected by the recent act of racial violence which is an attack on cultural sensitivity.
The International Student Society condemns these acts of racial violence and STANDS AGAINST them. We are always here in support and open to talk to students and assist them.
Students can reach out to several resources that would help them talk to someone and listen to them.

Hello UNB! Since TEDxUNB 2021 will now take place in the fall, we are re-opening director applications starting today.
TEDxUNB is a conference dedicated to sharing ideas and changing perspectives. This year, the director team will meet virtually over the summer to plan a September conference.
Based on statements from the university and the government, we are optimistic about TEDxUNB having an in-person component.

Candidate for Ambassador of Asia: Aritra De
Hello everyone,
I am Aritra De, first year software engineering student in UNB, Fredericton. My pronouns are he/his. I speak Arabic, French, English, Hindi and Bengali. As a student, I started my education in Boston and then continued my studies in Dubai, UAE and Bangalore, India. I really enjoy sports (running), games (Chess, Scrabble, Badminton, and Table Tennis), playing Piano, and I work hard at school to do well. If given an opportunity to be the Ambassador of Asia, I would definitely aim to reflect your interests in the common platform and also consider your suggestions for the improvement of events. I have prior experience of event management, volunteering works, where I used to collaboratively work with my school teachers to successfully complete many events. I have always liked the branch of Computer Science as it inspires me to think logically and differently. I hope you decide to choose me as I will try my best to provide what you are looking for.
