You graduated around the same time.⁣

You started working around the same time.⁣

A few years later, your friend is driving a new car.⁣
⁣
You are still using public transport.⁣

Suddenly, you start feeling left behind.⁣

You begin questioning your progress.⁣

You wonder whether you made the wrong decisions.⁣

But what if your friend made buying a car his priority while you made achieving financial freedom yours?⁣

What if he chose convenience while you chose saving and investing?⁣

The problem is not that one of you is winning and the other is losing.⁣

Some want social status and are willing to borrow to achieve it.⁣

Others want multiple streams of income so they are no longer dependent on a salary.⁣

Some want to look rich.⁣
⁣
Others want to become wealthy.⁣
⁣
Some want applause today.⁣
⁣
Others are willing to sacrifice today so they can enjoy freedom tomorrow.⁣
⁣
You are not behind because your life looks different from someone else's.⁣
⁣
You are only behind when you abandon your own goals to chase someone else's.⁣
⁣
The moment you become clear about what you want from life, comparison loses its power.⁣
⁣
Stop competing with people who are running a different race.⁣
⁣
Focus on your purpose.⁣
