Sara Tinker from GLEC and Samantha Howard and Carly Phelps from JCPS recently visited our undergraduate Postsecondary Transition Programs and Services for Individuals with Disabilities course to speak with students about postsecondary education and independent living for individuals with disabilities.
Throughout the semester, students have been studying how to support youth with disabilities as they transition to adulthood, and our guests shared practical strategies and tools that future teachers can use to support successful transitions.
Thank you to our guest speakers for sharing their expertise with our future educators!
