Congratulations to our alumni Lev Szentkirályi on his recent book publication.

Dr. Szentkirályi graduated cm laude in Fall 2006 with a B.S. in Environmental Science. He went on to earn his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Colorado and is currently a teaching faculty member in CU-Boulder’s Program for Writing and Rhetoric and Baker Natural Sciences and the Environmental Residential Academic Program.

In his book (The Ethics of Precaution: Uncertain Environmental Health Threats and Duties of Due Care), which is based on the precautionary principle, Lev explores why it is morally wrong for emitters to release substances into the environment whose health effects are uncorroborated.
