Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Workshops (MBSR)
Mindfulness training for Individuals and Groups

10/14/2025

Please share this resource with stroke survivors. This is a wonderful virtual community and I will offer mindfulness meditation sessions here, starting on World Stroke Day. Thank you. 🙏🏼

We’re getting ready to celebrate World Stroke Day — a time to honor the strength, connection, and community that make recovery possible.

Later this month, SOCC (Stroke Onward Community Circle) will host a week of free, inspiring programs for stroke survivors, carepartners, and professionals.

Join the celebration, connect with others who understand life after stroke, and discover what’s possible when we heal together.

Come for the conversations, stay for the community.

It’s finally happening! I am excited and honored to collaborate in this project.

Lori Gray, Ph.D., director of holistic health programs at WMU, received a FRACAA grant for a pilot program aimed at mindfulness-based stroke recovery. She seeks to improve engagement and emotional resiliency in stroke survivors and to strengthen long-term individual recovery efforts and outcomes. The study, launching this week, is a collaboration with a neurological institute in Kansas City, Missouri. Congratulations Dr. Gray! Learn more at http://ow.ly/OMJm50KHoHX
