Vida Saludable supports art to promote mental health and showcase local talent to reflect healthy lifestyles. Outstanding UTRGV art students led art activities including , .lizard, and . These student artists promoted positive mental health through creative expression, and the CLAA thanks them for their hard work and time!

Women who attended the event shared feedback, including that they enjoyed teaching about
women's health education from Dr. Rivas. Many women shared that they learned about gestational diabetes for the first time. Collectively, mothers felt motivated to advocate for their daughters and nieces, who are pregnant, to lead healthy lifestyles after being informed about complications that may arise due to gestational diabetes. All who attended received OBGYN care, pap smears, and related gynecological women's health care services.

Thank you to Amanda Garcia for creating Vida Saludable events to provide wellness education through the arts. Your work has been such an inspiration!

Please join us for the Father's Day event in June!
