I noticed that many free "online libraries" that were compiled or created during the pandemic are sadly inaccessible now. I feel like organizations and libraries who create digital library initiatives should plan for longevity and in some cases, the project will stop if the person involved or those maintaining it are no longer with the project or have stopped working in the organization.

The US-based Philippine Science High School International Alumni Foundation Inc. has donated scholarship grants to the University of the Philippines for PSHS alumni who are pursuing their undergraduate degrees in UP.

UP President Angelo Jimenez (left) received the scholarship documents Jan. 30 at the Executive House, UP Diliman, from Dr. Eric Cutiongco, Pisayian board member and an alumnus of the UPD College of Engineering.

Signed by Pisayian President Fides Cutiongco, the documents signify the organization’s intent to support qualified students through monthly stipends, a book allowance per semester for up to eight semesters, and a one-time thesis allowance.
