This is the day Terrigal underwater water group TUG got its first really practical dive boat. Three of us went to Sydney to have a look at this Dehaviland boat. Peter Marshall club treasurer, the money man. Peter Mark, he said he knew about outboards and me, 'cos
I knew about boats. We rocked the boat, kicked the tyres and started to haggle over the price. The owner wanted about $20000. Then he said something silly. He said he had to get $5000 to pay back his Nan.
Peter Marshall in one quick move had $5000 in notes in this guys hand. We hooked the trailer to my car Peter shook his hand and we were off to Terrigal.with a boat that served the club very well for many years.

Yesterday I had a great dive on the Adelaide with Amanda from TUG. We were on the Prodive boat.. Conditions were the best I have seen for a long while. Viz at least 20m or more and temp by my gauge 22 degrees. I doesn't get much better. I shot some good video and will post it soon. Somebody said they had not realised I was still diving, Of course I am. Only 4 dives last week though, Message me for details of special courses that I am teaching or trips I can organise

When facebook keeps messaging me to put something on my site, it's time to do so. I closed the Terrigal Dive Centre after 48 years of operation. Have I stopped diving ? Of course not. !! I am fun diving (when the weather permits) Doing 'one on one' instructing from openwater courses to speciality courses, nitrox, deep, marine life etc. Plus my private speciality : Teaching how to talk clearly underwater without the use of special equipment.
