We sent Professor Stupendous to this week to celebrate Science Week. Using items commonly found around the home, the Professor blew things up, blew things out and blew things away! The sounds of giggles and gasps of delight are always the highlight of our time at Chiselhurst Kindy - thanks for inviting us back again Rosemary!

Our E.P.I.K. holiday program returns for a mini program this Spring for 3 days in Toowoomba and 1 day in Gatton. Voted NUMBER 1 school holiday program (by some children)!

What is E.P.I.K.? Engaging Programs Inspiring Kids! Using a mix of tennis, chess & science experiments, your children will be engaged and enjoying their school holidays - SCREEN FREE!

TOOWOOMBA: 21st September - 23rd September (Week 1 of holidays)
GATTON: 2nd October (Week 2 of holidays)
TIME: 9.00am - 3.00pm
COST: $88.00 per child, per day (inclusive of GST)
REGISTRATION IS ESSENTIAL - this program is popular and places fill quickly.

🔍SCIENCE WEEK! 🧪

Everyone's favourite scientist, Professor Stupendous, visited the Toowoomba Anglican School this week to share exciting hands-on workshops with the primary years students. Exploring the theme ‘Creative Kitchen Questions for Inquisitive Kids’, the students participated in fun experiments, and explored a range of scientific concepts while learning to think like real scientists by observing, questioning, predicting and experimenting.

Last week Ted had a pop-in science show at Kath Dickson Family Centre celebrating Science Month (because 1 week is not long enough!).

The centre learned all about air pressure, with Ted's Marshmallow Cannon and Canister Rockets!

Thank you to St Joseph's Primary School, Gayndah, for inviting Ted to create chemistry chaos with your students! The explored chemical reactions through science presentations, the world of sound and electrical conduction utilising makey makey kits, and also coding and robotics. Fun was had by all. Brilliant bunch of super engaged kiddos keen to participate made it a fantastic event. We look forward to the next one!
