♟️KNIGHTS CHESS CLUB is designed for experienced players, with a focus on advancing knowledge of rules and strategic thinking. Each week we will provide coaching and game play suitable for all players. This is NOT suitable for beginner players.

TIME: 1 hour from 4:00 – 5.00pm

♟️ROOKIES CHESS CLUB is held on Monday afternoons, offering beginner students the FUNdamentals of chess. Suitable for primary aged and older students. Lead by qualified coaches and teachers. NOT suitable for experienced players.

On Friday, our team were delighted to host the Toowoomba Catholic Schools Secondary Schools chess competition. This was a chance for our high school students across the region to battle it out on the board using strategy, patience and critical thinking. Well done to all who participated in a fabulous day of chess!

Thursday of this week Ted and the team facilitated the Toowoomba Catholic Schools primary chess competition. A wonderful day of chess and fun was had by all!

By offering online options, students isolated by distance also had the opportunity to participate.
