The SVO is holding their annual chilli cook off on October 4th. The cook off will consist of judging heat, taste, and vegetarian chili. Winners of each category will receive a $25 amazon giftcard. Well do not worry because there are several ways to serve your peers at Wichita State. Consider serving on a University Committees. From serving on a faculty committee, parking and traffic committees, to serving as a member of the RSC Board of Directors and so much more!

Advocacy does not always have to be in a public setting! Some of the biggest impacts are made when you have a seat at the table! We want YOU, and we need YOU! Let’s be the change!

A Bill to improve the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) GI Bill Work Study program has passed in the House of Representatives.

These changes would provide the VA the best opportunity to focus the resources needed to better serve student Veterans holistically.

Thanks go to Representatives Roe, Lee and Davis for their leadership on this issue.
