Common Ground Farm Visit. 👩‍🌾

What a perfect day we had at the farm today.

The children learnt all about market gardens, had a taste of some kale and lettuce, walked in the ‘furrows’ between garden beds, fed the chooks and collected eggs, met and fed the resident goats, Billy, Charlie and Snowy and made friends with some worms.

They also had a play in the play ground and got a bus back to Kinder!!!

WOW!! It was super fun.

And then a very exciting trip back to kinder on the bus! 🚌

So lucky to have sunny days for beach kinder as the children get to explore their environment.

Beach kinder is ran term 4 and the children get to spend the time, learning about nature, playing in the water and moving 🌞

We are so lucky to live in such a special place 🤍

All the children have been working very hard for their end of year show 🧑‍🎨 🎨 We can’t wait to see you there

A beautiful calm and peaceful morning spent on Country.
Today we:
🌿 Made mud

🌿Got our hair and nails done at the salon

🌿Went on a fungi hunt

🌿 Made up some new games

🌿 Played ‘Guinea pigs’

And enjoyed some interesting chats with morning tea.
