The Therapy Harp Training Program (THTP) is an online therapeutic music course with self-paced modules, supported by books and media, practical applications and supportive assessment processes. THTP Director, Helen Morrison (B.Ed Mus) is well placed to support each student with her background in music education, harp playing, therapeutic music work, workshops and performances in Australia and inte

rnationally, as well as her skills in improvising, composing and recording. At THTP, students learn the skills to provide therapeutic music in healthcare and community settings. Instruments on the program have included harp, guitar, flutes, and voice. THTP covers a diverse range of relevant topics such as improvisation, repertoire building, self-care, intention and much more. A highlight for students is their practicum work and their Independent Study. THTP graduates are equipped for a confident and effective entry into the workplace. Importantly, the Therapy Harp Training Program has been accredited by the Australian Therapeutic Harpists Association. At THTP, students are given individual attention and the THTP community is a supportive and nurturing space with regular live Zoom meetings and a private page for students.

Fantastic to be part of this beautiful harp therapy day at Portarlington VIC with local THTP students and graduates, as well as the Bellarine Sea Angels, and Hills Angels from east Melbourne. The day was hosted by Christine Middleton, with Christina Tourin (USA) facilitating an interesting workshop for all levels followed by her concert which included local support acts. Harp power! 🎵🌝🌟
