The BISU Clarin ITSO Unit continued its commitment to promoting innovation and intellectual property with the "Intellectual Property: Claims Drafting" event held on November 10, 2023. This gathering provided a platform for inventors and authors to showcase their cutting-edge technologies and literary works.

During the event, inventors and authors had the opportunity to present and elaborate on the unique features and claims of their intellectual properties. This not only allowed them to highlight the distinctive aspects of their creations but also fostered an environment of knowledge exchange and collaboration.

A special note of gratitude goes to Ma'am Alissa Mae Carias, whose invaluable expertise served as a guiding force during the event. As the resource speaker, Ma'am Carias shared her insights and knowledge, contributing to the participants' understanding of effective claims drafting in the realm of intellectual property.

The primary objective of the ITSO Unit is to cultivate a culture of innovation and collaboration within the realm of Intellectual Property. In line with this mission, the ITSO Unit recently achieved another milestone with the successful ex*****on of the "Intellectual Property: Patent Search and Invention Spotting" event held on November 8-9, 2023.

Under the guidance of ITSO Director Dr. Margie V. Avenido and CTAS ITSO Chairperson Dr. Alme B. Maravillas, this insightful activity aimed to advance understanding and expertise in the critical domains of patent search and invention spotting. Participants had the opportunity to delve into the intricacies of Intellectual Property, gaining valuable insights into the identification and exploration of innovative ideas.
